“Courage” Theme Introduced Sabbath, Jan 28

Courage. Do you have it? Do you need it? We all need courage when we feel overwhelmed. We need courage when we feel pressured to do wrong. We need courage to stand up for what is right when it isn’t popular. We need courage to raise our children for Jesus. We need courage to honor the Sabbath, return tithe for the first time, or choose to be baptized if family or friends resist the decision. We need courage to let our light shine for Jesus, especially if we are surrounded with darkness.

How can we have more courage? We will let the Bible show us models of courage and how we can have courage when we need it most in a month-long series beginning this Sabbath, January 28 (9am and 11:30am) at Richardson Seventh-day Adventist Church. A Bible Reading Bookmark and Great Controversy Prayer Meeting series are available to go along with the theme.

  • January 28   “Courageous When Overwhelmed” Joshua 1
  • February 4   “Courage to Stand” Acts 26:1-32
