“Disappointment” Theme Introduced Sabbath, April 28

Have you ever been deeply disappointed? A relationship you were invested in simply disintegrated. A friend you trusted in let you down. You were passed by for the job promotion you expected. The healing you were counting on resulted in a funeral instead.

When we are deeply disappointed we are very vulnerable. We look for comfort and sometimes the enemy is ready to offer it. How can we learn to deal with disappointment in a healthy, even joyful way?

This Sabbath, April 28 (9am & 11:30am) at Richardson Seventh-day Adventist Church we begin a month-long focus on Disappointment. A Bible Reading Bookmark and Great Controversy Prayer Meeting series are available to go along with the theme.

You can invite your friends to all events since they are free of charge and open to the public.
