Please let me know if you are still seriously interested (or not) in attending or sponsoring someone for the London Mission Trip.
We are about one month away, and graciously God has answered our prayers for a place to stay! We will be staying at the New Life SDA church in Finsbury Park in London.
Here’s some (updated) basic info you may (or may not) know about the London Mission Trip:
Plan of Action!: Street-ministry with (possibly) evening evangelistic meetings. Music, Drama, GLOW tract/pamphlet distribution, Preaching, Teaching, Bible Studies, Prayer, and God-willing….. Baptisms! (Matt. 28:19-20)
Dates: Friday, June 28 (some will be flying from Dublin, others from US) until Sunday, July 7
Cost: Each person will be responsible for airfare (around $1200 roundtrip from DFW) and a grocery fee to be pooled and utilized by a cook who will take care of all our meals on the trip ($200). Each person will purchase a one-week London Pass ($100) which will give us unlimited access to all modes of public transportation in London. Each person should count on another $100-$200 for miscellaneous fees such as entrance fees to tourist locations, transportation on the first Friday and last Sabbath and Sunday, and souvenirs etc. The total is probably going to be around $1600-$1900 per person, depending mostly on airfare.
Someone who would like to be our designated cook, who is experienced with food preparation and does not mind missing out on a little bit of the street witnessing with the group.
People eager to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through songs, skits, Scripture, prayer, and passing out literature with smiling faces!
