This Sabbath October 5 at Richardson- Adventist Heritage Sabbath, Speaker Larry Moore

This year is the 150th birthday of the Seventh-day Adventist Church! In 1863, at the height of the American Civil War, a group of delegates from several Adventist conferences that had formed gathered together and organized for a worldwide work.

Twenty years later, at an eight-day campmeeting in Plano, Texas attended by Ellen White, the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists was organized and thirteen people were baptized {3BIO 100-101; LS 240.2}. This year is its 130th birthday!

Larry Moore, President of the Southwestern Union of Seventh-day Adventists, will preach to us this Sabbath, October 5, as we celebrate these two major milestones.

Ellen White tells us “We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and his teaching in our past history.” {Testimonies for the Church, volume 9, page 10.3}. Click here for more on Adventist Heritage

Join us this Sabbath at Richardson (9am & 11:30am) as Pastor Larry Moore shares the message “If You Only Knew” in a study of 2 Timothy 3:12-15.

Next Sabbath we begin a three-month journey of how to deal with difficult emotions through a study of the Book of Psalms.

Here are some links to help us in that journey.

All events are open to the public and free of charge at 1201 W. Belt Line Road, Richardson, Texas. Feel free to invite a friend to join you!

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:12-15.
