San Antonio Mission Trip

photo 1Greetings from San Antonio! Our mission team is hard at work down here. We have been able to see God at work in so many ways during the last few days that it makes us recount our blessings. Monday we fed the homeless at the San Antonio Safe Haven Home which prepares 58,000 meals weekly. We were touched by the gratitude that many of the homeless brothers and sisters expressed as we were feeding them at 6 am in the morning.

One particular case really blessed my soul, a young woman about 25 in age was homeless with 2 very small children found herself in that situation and her face was a face of stress, depression, and anxiety but the little ones were peaceful as long as mom was around!

We have also helped paint and restore the church that is hosting us, visited the San Antonio food bank garden where we are helping clear a field for harvest so that the city can grow vegetables for the homeless, we have helped in the warehouse sorting food for low income homes and we are seeing God do wonderful things in our nightly meetings! Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we finish our mission trip off.
