As children we like to test boundaries. We step out of line, we push the limits, we are often asking “why”?
As we mature we learn to embrace some boundaries. We realize that guard rails on mountain roads are there to protect us, not to limit our freedom. We realize that although we can stay up late every night or eat junk food endlessly there is a price to pay if we do.
The wise son or daughter of our Heavenly Father learns to embrace God’s boundaries of love, knowing that “In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.” Proverbs 12:28.
Proverbs gives us heavenly insight into God’s PATHWAY (Priorities, Attitudes, Time, Health, Wealth, Abilities, Your Relationships).
Join us this Sabbath at Richardson (9am & 11:30am) as we find God’s PATHWAY in Proverbs in our series “Great Advice from Proverbs.” Feel free to bring a friend.
Here are more tools to help us distinguish between a good & Godly decision and one that looks good but will lead to pain.
